Labyrinths

A black and white linear diagram of each labyrinth was reproduced with permission by Jeff Saward from his book Labyrinths & Mazes. I was taken by his diagrams of the historical archaeological sites and corresponded with him in England. I selected several images I wanted to work with and he sent them to me on a CD. My intention was to use them as collage elements in paintings. When I opened the images on my computer in Photoshop, I automatically began adding color, which altered some of the original forms; I then saw them as unique images.  These experimental pieces are printed 12 x 12 inches on archival paper and are available as a limited edition of signed and dated prints. They have been included in several exhibitions in New York State.
